  • As the local group we are affiliated of the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).
  • BDA is the national voice of dyslexic people and their main aims are:Lobbying for changes in the education system at government level
  • Encouraging better awareness of dyslexia in Teacher Training programmes
  • Securing better support for students at university
  • Providing support and training for local Dyslexia Associations
  • Offering training to teachers and teaching assistants throughout the country.
